Special Thoughts

Sometimes I wonder why I live with worry or despair…
Why I continue to run from and create problems that are truly not there.

I place so much importance on the things that others want and need…
That I show up too tired when it comes time for my heart and soul to feed.

I know that is what makes me special in so many ways…
I remain willing to place into existence the reality that my heart displays.

No matter the time or place, I lend a helping hand…
When I see that someone’s outlook and hope are struggling or bland.

I pump life into them where I can, so they don’t give in…
I tell them that their strength far outlasts their demons’ next win.

We all have our problems and our struggles that are all too real…
However, no darkness will ever own the rights to the ways we feel.
