Safe Haven

I started to see all of the pieces when silence showed me peace…
As a quality of life comes to fruition and hatred started to decrease.

I didn’t sign up for this confusion or manic way…
Of living in a brain that had no control within impulses every day.

Here is the kicker that is going to change the world…
I became enough of a problem for my darkness to become unfurled

I held on to the strength that I was born to show and use…
In a way where my demons knew I would never fully confuse.

I fell in love with myself after not knowing for years who I was…
It was now my decision to live free instead of listening to their because.

I give advice these days from a no longer broken place…
Hoping that it will help others see their worth when they see their face.

Sit down in your sorrow darkness because you deserve your fear…
As you let go of those that realize that it is up to them to see clear.

All I ever wanted…
Was to stop being endlessly hunted.
