No Longer Scared

I have lived through lonely times and every troubled thought…
That told me stories of someone that I now see I am definitely not.

I have sat tormented through time to now see to the truth…
I have forgiven the absence of patience that was missing through my youth.

I have found reason to give thanks and find beauty in all…
I have created action through them trying to keep making me stall.

I have found so much damn beauty in the successes I’ve earned…
I have found so much purpose and hope through the lessons I’ve learned.

I no longer run scared…
Because I am thoroughly prepared…
To never again in my life let my heart be impaired.
