Irreversible Calm

Chaos can surround me even at my most timid times…
I no longer participate or give in to these internal crimes.

The sun shines now on areas I have never known or seen…
So there is no looking past the things and what they are supposed to mean.

The difference this time from any time before…
Is that I chose to step out into the world and to close that door.

Instead of taking chances and planning heavily to fall back in…
I actually chose this time to step into my true prints and to finally win.

I say when things go and when they stop…
As I now look at things from the pinnacle…Yes, the very top.

Every reason to be…
What my heart wants me be and see…
So I can live in this life calm and free.
