An Eventful Clearing

With all that of the things that we’ve been through….
A clearing in the darkness will eventually show true.

We approach areas in life that show us hope…
As we zone in on the things that fall into our new scope.

When an experience falls short we gain lessons in turn…
To then use those lessons so we can lessen our burn.

No more torment or torture by sitting in place….
No more expressions of sadness on a desperate face.

Happiness holds the crown…
On the other side of a frown…
Which leaves every reason for us to never drown.
